20 hours over 10 weeks
A two-hour session once a week for 10 weeks will get you started in Swedish, building
your skills and confidence when communicating. There will be plenty of opportunities to
practise listening and speaking, as well as some basic grammar. You will learn:
• to introduce yourself, your family, and your profession
• the extra vowels and tricky sounds in the Swedish language
• basic shopping Swedish
• counting
• verbs in present tense
• word order in sentences
• personal pronouns
• question words
